{"id":3028,"date":"2014-12-13T13:55:47","date_gmt":"2014-12-13T18:55:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hallmanphotoblog.com\/?p=3028"},"modified":"2014-12-13T13:55:47","modified_gmt":"2014-12-13T18:55:47","slug":"remembering-katie-and-clarissa-by-sc-photographer-patty-hallman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/studiotwoonetwo.com\/blog\/remembering-katie-and-clarissa-by-sc-photographer-patty-hallman\/","title":{"rendered":"Remembering Katie and Clarissa, by SC Photographer Patty Hallman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This was a rough week with me getting two phone calls within two days letting me know of the all too soon passing of two of my past clients. \u00a0First came a call from Scott letting me know his bride, Katie, passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving Day from lung cancer. \u00a0She has just gotten her diagnosis ten weeks earlier and was hopeful and optimistic for a cure. It was heartbreaking getting that call. \u00a0 \u00a0I photographed Scott and Katie&#8217;s engagement session in July 2013 and remember it well.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3029\" title=\"Katie and Scott Langley\" src=\"http:\/\/pattyhallman.goodgallery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Katie_Scott109.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/studiotwoonetwo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Katie_Scott109.jpg 900w, https:\/\/studiotwoonetwo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Katie_Scott109-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/studiotwoonetwo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Katie_Scott109-200x133.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then just two days later, I got a call from Joy, Maid of Honor from Clarissa and Ricardo&#8217;s October 5th wedding just weeks ago. \u00a0She told me that Clarissa had unexpectedly passed away after a medical procedure this week. \u00a0Again, I was just heartbroken. \u00a0I&#8217;m so sad for Ricardo who has lost his bride just barely two months after their wedding day. \u00a0I feel crushed for Vivian, Clarissa&#8217;s mom, who has lost her daughter. \u00a0I can&#8217;t imagine their pain. \u00a0 I pray that the my photos from the engagement and bridal sessions, and the wedding will help them remember Clarissa&#8217;s beautiful smile and her amazing spirit.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3031\" title=\"Clarissa Cornish Bowman\" src=\"http:\/\/pattyhallman.goodgallery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ClarissaBlog-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/studiotwoonetwo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ClarissaBlog-01.jpg 600w, https:\/\/studiotwoonetwo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ClarissaBlog-01-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3032\" title=\"Clarissa Cornish Bowman 2\" src=\"http:\/\/pattyhallman.goodgallery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ClarissaBlog-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/studiotwoonetwo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ClarissaBlog-02.jpg 600w, https:\/\/studiotwoonetwo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ClarissaBlog-02-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll always remember these two wonderful women, and send my love to their families.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This was a rough week with me getting two phone calls within two days letting me know of the all too soon passing of two&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6],"tags":[819,820,818],"class_list":["post-3028","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-weddings","tag-clarissa-cornish-bowman","tag-katie-langley","tag-memorial-photos"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
