Well, I’m officially getting old, I guess. My son is now a married man so I must be getting up there. LOL…. I don’t feel like it, so I’ll just keep reminding myself of that!
Phillip, my son and my best second shooter ever, is a USC grad, a computer programmer, and now a hubby. He met his wife, Rachel, a little over two years ago when we were photographing Rachel’s best friend Liz’ wedding at The Millstone at Adam’s Pond. Rachel was the Maid of Honor, and the rest, as the saying goes, is history. So, not only do I treat my wedding clients like family, some actually have become family. How many photographers can say that?!
I want to give a huge shout out and thanks to my friend and fellow photographer, Kelly Lucas, for being there to photograph Phillip & Rachel’s wedding with me. It allowed me to photograph just enough to not have withdrawals, but to leave most of it up to Kelly so I could bask in the moments.
Also, another big shout out to Mr. Sharpe and his wonderful granddaughter, Layken, at The Farm at Ridgeway. They are like family now too,and I adore them and their awesome venue. One of the very, very best in the Columbia area in my opinion!
